Peter Mutharika, who is the leader of the DPP party, has said he will not change his mind about running for president.
He told a local movie station that he will run as a Democratic Progressive Party candidate in the party's major conference in July this year.
He also hinted that if he wins, he will run for president in the country's elections in September next year (2025).
Mr. Mutharika said that his goal in running for president of this country is to address issues like the economy, youth empowerment, and corruption.
