 BY ISHMAEL CHIMWAZA

President Lazarus Chakwera believes Malawi has great potential in the international business market due to its unique resources.

During the first Malawi Mining Forum in Lilongwe, Chakwera mentioned that the country holds minerals like gold and rare earths beneath its soil.

Despite the abundance of resources, he stated that Malawi has not fully benefited economically from its minerals.

Chakwera emphasized the importance of exploring these minerals and urged Malawians to take interest in them for the country's development.

He also stressed the need for stronger mining laws to protect Malawi's resources and ensure economic growth.
