UMOZI PARTY TO HOLD MAJOR CONFERENCE ON MAY 26

The Tonse Alliance-affiliated Umozi Party has announced that it will hold its major conference on May 26th of this year.

John Harry Kamatsatsa, the party's spokesperson, said that during the conference they would be selecting the leadership that will lead the party in the upcoming year's election.

Kamatsatsa expressed satisfaction with how the party is operating, emphasizing that they are united and communicating effectively.

He added that there is an increase in the number of people joining the party.

Kamatsatsa also commended the party's former leader, Professor John Chisi, saying that he did not abandon the party even when he joined the MCP party.

Currently, the party is being led by Thomas Wezzie Kaumba.

Meanwhile, political analyst Ernest Thindwa praised the Umozi Party, saying that these developments will ensure that competent individuals hold leadership positions within the party.
