Residents of Senjere camp, including Ireen Kasiya, have expressed deep concerns over the "limited humanitarian support" provided by the government since the disaster struck. The community members highlighted that only 13 bags of maize and two tins of Usipa were delivered to the Katimbila camp, which is home to over 1000 affected individuals. This insufficient aid has forced residents to ration maize flour, sharing meager portions to prepare meals.
Navicha, one of the residents, criticized the government for what she perceived as a lack of seriousness in responding to the disaster. She questioned the absence of any cabinet minister visiting the affected community, emphasizing the need for immediate support. Navicha urged the government to step up and demonstrate leadership by providing necessary assistance to the suffering population.

"It's time for the government to wake up and prioritize the needs of the affected people. We cannot afford to sit idly while our friends are in distress. Leadership is needed now more than ever," Navicha emphasized.
